The ultimate goal of this program is to accelerate the deployment of innovations for circular supply chains to improve security and reduce environmental impacts, supporting a robust and competitive manufacturing sector. Through complementary analyses outside of this accelerator, EERE will investigate which product and material market segments have high potential for positively impacting economy-wide goals related to industrial competitiveness, resiliency of supply, and environmental sustainability. This NOFO seeks applications to form an accelerator that will conduct deep dives into these identified market segments to do the following:

  1. Identify technology deployment pathways for advancing circular supply chains in prioritized market segments through analysis of technical and non-technical market factors that influence how these technologies can scale within and across market segments. Further, identify synergistic opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, business models and market tools (e.g., standards, offtake agreements, verification frameworks, data systems, etc.) for circular supply chains across multiple product and material market segments.
  2. Engage with stakeholders within and across product and material market segments to support the technology and market analysis and facilitate coordination on technology advancement and adoption.
